Welcome to Shadowdarke's Realms BYOND!

This site is dedicated to my escapades with the BYOND gaming universe. BYOND stands for Build Your Own Net Dream, and it lives up to the name. The BYOND suite includes everything you need to design, host, and play online tile based games.

For players, BYOND offers a variety of interesting games. BYOND was originally designed for graphical Multi User Dungeons (MUDs), but as interest has grown many varieties of games have sprung up. Party games, puzzle games, fast paced shooters, suspenceful action games, dice games, card games, graphical chatrooms, and of course RPG MUDs round out the BYOND game listing.

For developers, BYOND offers a robust object oriented programming language that allows you to easily make your dreams into reality. Beginners will find BYOND a great place to get their feet wet with game design. More advanced users will enjoy the degree of customization available and the power features of the Dream Maker language.
